Oblivion

Toothless smile
oblivious
of the still silence
in the room
She will never know
what its like
to lose a mother

Tulika,

Read 2 poems and write up on Banaras. Come what may Banaras will remain the same. Last Night shows contentment at being with one you love. I am so touched by this one as one who has gone will not know how much we miss her.

Take care

Tulika, this poem leaves me with a lot of questions. I want to know why?

human, a moment, nicely captured.
bitterness, ( maybe a little jealousy of the observer's ignorance? ) at any rate i like it.

This poem stirred me. Made me a sad as I sit here thinking of the day I will no longer have my mother. I never ever want that day to come.

So poignant, but so sad.

Nicely expressed.
